The basic story of Clauderick really happened on the former homestead of Desert Garden Farms in Idaho. Desert Garden Farms is a small cottage industry providing custom dyed, carded & spun fibers from various sources including their very own animals.

The folks at DGF’s have been busy building a new homestead with their own hands using environmentally friendly techniques as available
2/3rds of the proceeds of this pattern are going to the Desert Garden Farms subsistence homestead project.
