Construction notes: Claudia Wrap is a triangular shawl, knit with 1 strand of Cashmere Merino Bloom. One main color and two contrast colors are used and worked in intarsia technique. The shawl is cast on at one side with either a tubular cast on, i-cord cast-on or long-tail cast on (all alternatives described in pattern) and formed by gradually decreasing sts at the top of the shawl.
Three structured bands (Contrast color 1, 2 and main color) give many opportunities for individual color play, while maintaining a very clean, sleek look of the accessory.
The overall structure appears woven and the wrap is reversible with an interesting seed stitch texture on the back side. Edges are finished with i-cords and if desired by the crafter, decorative tassels are added in the end.

Inspiration: Inspiration for this pattern comes from Italian freedom fighter and resistance activist Claudia Ruggerini: “Stronger than Fear,
Is the desire to fight for Freedom.”
