Knitting adorable hats for the CLICK for Babies program is so much fun! This is one of the four patterns included in the free CLICK for Cuteness ebook.

To ensure that your precious hand knits will be accepted by the CLICK for Babies Program to help educate new parents about “period of purple crying”, please follow these program guidelines:

  • Hats for donation should be knit in the Newborn size (14-16”) circumference.
  • Preemie and Toddler sizes have also been included for your personal use.
  • Hats should be knit using at least 50% purple yarn
  • Knitters are requested to please refrain from including any potential choking and strangling hazards on hats such as pom-poms, tassels, straps, bows, ribbons, or buttons. When including the optional crocheted flower topper, ensure that each petal is sewn down securely.
  • For more information about CLICK for Babies, and to find mailing addresses for your hats, visit the program website at www.clickforbabies.org.
