This warm and textured scarf is a fairly easy knit for those who are used to increasing and decreasing in the same stitch. The textured stitches give this scarf a remarkable look of dimensionality. The pattern also includes instructions for an optional crochet edging, however if you elect to use the garter stitch border, no edging is necessary. Should you elect to edge it with crochet, this is the ONLY crochet contained within the pattern.

The scarf in the sample was made with Jade Sapphire’s wonderfully soft Lacy Lamb yarn. It is a the cobweb yarn with four strands held together, but it can easily be replaced with ANY worsted weight yarn. The scarf was knit using size U.S. #8 needles. NOTE: Should you use a regular worsted weight yarn, the scarf requires approximately 600 - 800 yards.
