This shawl is a light and airy crescent shape worked in one hank of luxurious laceweight yarn. The shawl is worked from the bottom up, beginning with an intriguing lace pattern with mock cables. The body is worked in stockinette stitch, with short-rows shaping the shawl. The top edge uses the same mock cable as the bottom edge: however, a full repeat of the mock cable pattern is not worked, creating an interesting slipped stitch ribbing.
