This is a sweet variation of the much-loved Granny Square !

Known as a closed granny square ….. as there are far fewer gaps.

This is very popular at the moment.

Make squares and join them into a blanket - or just keep making it bigger if you are not a fan of joining !

These can also be used as bonding squares if made in pairs.

I used DK yarn and 3.5mm hook - but this pattern works just fine if you want to use a different yarn weight !
