These mittens are the perfect cold weather, oversized mittens. Bulky, roving style yarn is knit in a tight gauge for a tighter fabric, to keep the wind away from your hands and to make them extra warmth. The tubular cast makes them nice and snug, but stretchy at the same time. For extra warmth, the large size is meant to be a really large pair that can be worn over another pair of mittens on the coldest days.

This pattern is now available for free on the Evil Olive Knits website.
