Notes on Snaps:
I tested several different kinds of hammer-in style snaps for this project. I would highly recommend using the same snaps and tools that I used (see below), as they were by far the easiest style to attach. I would also recommend practicing setting in the snaps on a spare swatch before attaching any snaps the legwarmers. It is best if you can use your crocheted swatch with a piece of grosgrain ribbon held on the WS. However, if you must unravel your swatch (in order to have enough yarn), you can crochet another swatch using similar yarn, to practice setting in the snaps.

I used 3 packages of “Snapsource Snap Sz 24 Capped Prong Ring Antique Brass” snaps which can be found here.
The tools that are used for attaching these snaps are “Snapsource SnapSetter Tool sz 16 Purple” to be used along with “Snapsource SnapSetter Tool Adapter Sz 24 Purple” which can also be found here and here.
I used antique brass studs, which can be found here.I used Wrights 1.75”/4.5cm square Fleur de Lys buckle, item #881033 which can be found here.

Gauge 19 sts and 20 rows = 4” in patt with larger hook; 20 sts and 22 rows = 4” in sc blo with smaller hook.
