This cute crochet baby blanket is made in a lace pattern that makes it lightweight, yet its texture is also soft and squishy. It is made from a durable material that is great for both every day use and photoshoots. It makes a perfect baby shower gift.

This baby blanket can be made as small or big as you want using the instructions shown below. The end result is a simple lace crochet blanket with a beautiful edging that is super soft and squishy. I used two 100g balls of worsted weight yarn to make my blanket, or about 7 oz. You can adjust this blanket to any gauge to make the stitches smaller and more lace-like, or chunkier and squishier.

The pattern includes written instructions as well as some crochet charts. It is a simple pattern that is easy to make and great for even beginners of crochet.
