I saw a hat like this online a long time ago and liked it a lot, so I’ve created my own pattern to look similar to what I saw. It’s a slip stitch ribbing mixed with clusters and single crochet to give it a lot of texture on the cap/crown.

The size is a one size fits most since the ribbing stretches. You can make the ribbing longer or the cap longer by adding an extra few rows since you’ll have plenty of yarn left over.

I used one skein of Ella Rae Seasons. The colorway is listed in the pattern. It has natural browns and grey colors mostly.

You’ll need size N (9.00MM) crochet hook, a tapestry needle and scissors for this project. The ribbing is a pain in the butt, so make sure to keep all of your stitches very loose while working it.
