Satiny slubs punctuate a simple rib pattern in this after-hours clutch. Add crocheted pins (instructions included) or leave it unadorned; either way, your bag won’t go unnoticed.

Finished Size: 11” (28 cm) wide at top, 13” (33 cm) wide at base, and 6½“ (16.5 cm) high.

Yarn: Muench Cleo (87% rayon, 13% metal: 62 yd 56 m/ 50 g): #129 Pinedes, 2 balls.

Yarn weight: #4 - Medium

Gauge: 15 sts and 22½ rows = 4” (10 cm) in k1, p1 rib with larger needles.

Needles:

  • Bag - Sizes 7 and 9 (4.5 and 5.5 mm): straight.
  • I-cord - Size 6 (4 mm): set of 2 double-pointed (dpn).
  • Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
