Inspired by sea breezes and moonlit walks along the shore, Coast is an almost circular shawl designed for 4ply yarn, and is the perfect item to throw on anywhere, anytime when the sun goes down and there’s a chill in the air.

Written in two sizes (medium and large), and knit from the top down in sumptuous 100% Alpaca 4ply, Coast is a simple to work striped circular shawl in two colours, with a beautiful deep lace edging reminiscent of gentle waves and seashells, knit onto the live stitches left after completion of the body of the shawl.

Coast looks equally stunning striped as written, or all in one colour - or why not try using one colour for the body and a contrasting colour for the edging? Whichever colour combination you choose, Coast is sure to become your go-to shawl for years to come!

Coast has been professionally tech-edited, and instructions are provided in both written and charted format.
