The Cocktail (Jumper) is also available as part of Shaken Not Stirred, an eBook that allows you to mix and match 2 different patterns. To find out more about the contents of this e-book follow the link above.

This pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down. The back and front are worked from the shoulder saddles to the armholes. After the underarm the body is knitted to the hem in one piece. The sleeve stitches are picked up and the sleeve caps are knitted with short-rows to allow the lace pattern of the saddles to flow into the sleeve.

A feminine jumper that combines a comfortable but still tailored fit with romantic lace and playful stripes. Stripes & bolder colour are kept on the top to keep the focus near the face, enhance the shoulders and for a slimmer silhouette, while the lace pattern of the shoulder saddle continues down to the sleeves until the cuff.

The garment is shaped with darts for a three dimensional tailored result and the bottom flares out in a slight A line shape. A different lace pattern on the hem is worked in the sewn bind off and allows for a glimpse on the contrast lining.

Techniques and methods are either explained in the pattern itself, or links are provided that point to web-tutorials.
