BEGINNER LEVEL knitting pattern for AMERICAN GIRL 18” doll

This will fit American Girl Doll or any other 18” doll.
I have written this Easy Simple step-by-step, row-by-row, stitch – by- stitch pattern that anyone can follow. If you know just 2 stitches; knit and purl – you can knit this cardigan.

In addition this pattern contains several “tricks of the trade” that I have included as an extra tool for the beginner to improve in the future.
This is a cardigan done is a timeless style of classic design of Coco Chanel. This sweater is made without side seams. The only seams are under arms in the sleeves.

I used the most common worsted weight acrylic in this sweater.
Needle size will depend on specific yarn used and your own knitting style. Just maintain correct gauge.
