“Code 2319” is the alert shouted when a monster is contaminated by a human child’s sock in the movie Monsters Inc. The orange and yellow monster is captured and the offending sock is removed and destroyed. Then he is shaved and showered. Poor monster. The peachy orange and sunny yellow of this design look as though they could have been spun from his fur.

Oink Pigments, their yarn is pretty much as cool as monster fur. The strong and springy texture of the Targhee Sock yarn is simply perfect for socks. You’ll love creating these monstrously delightful socks.

The pattern is a simple and unique mosaic pattern and uses only one color per round. The magic is achieved by slipping stitches and the occasional well-placed purl. You’ll find it easy to follow along and read your knitting.
