A reversible capelet with a double-breasted collar and cable detail. Knits up super fast in worsted or aran weight yarn and can be worn layered over a sleeveless dress in spring, or pulled up on top of your shoulders like a cowl in cooler weather. On windy days, you can even wear it as a wimple making it a wonderful accessory for transitional weather!

SIZES + MEASUREMENTS
Pattern is written for two sizes to fit an adult female: XS/SM (M/L). Sample shown is XS/SM on 32” bust circumference (or 41” full bust circumference including upper arms).

Measurements are taken post-blocking with the fabric laying flat and unstretched. The fabric allows for a lot of stretch when worn. You should choose the size that corresponds with your usual t-shirt size.

MATERIALS
YARN: 500 (620) yards 457 (566) m of worsted or aran weight yarn. Sample shown in Western Sky Knits Superwash Merino Aran (183 yards/3.5 oz.) in Fireburst.

NEEDLES: 24” circular needle and one double pointed needle (DPN) in US 9 (5.5 mm) OR size required to obtain gauge and two sizes smaller. Cable needle (cn).

NOTIONS: 2 mkrs, 6 buttons ¾-1” (2-2½ cm) in diameter, darning needle for weaving in ends
