These mitts are knit in the round. They have a garter stitch border followed by a Coin Lace pattern throughout. The thumb gusset expands gently from base of wrist in stocking stitch. It grows from the stitches on needle one using M1L (make one left) and M1R (make one right) increases.

You can follow the pattern exactly as written, or you can customize them by altering the length of the wrist, the length to the thumb and the final length. Please note if you make them longer you may need more than 50g (one skein) of yarn.
