This is an easy pattern to work on, great for a beginning knitter who wants to complete a useful project, in a short time.

You can use up yarns from your stash for the “coin” pattern, rather than making them all the same color. Creativity and imagination can rule the day here !

The yellow Tatamy Tweed was used double-strand throughout the pattern. The worsted weight was not quite heavy enough for what I wanted.
