This little coin purse started with a handful of pressed pennies. To Kathryn Alexander, they cried out for a quick project that could be finished in a weekend. She designed this bag with two of her signature elements, colorful yarn and modular construction with lots of triangles. Wensleydale top is perfect for a little coin purse: like coins, it is shiny and durable. Kathryn enjoyed spinning the top with a true worsted draw-pulling the fibers down in short increments and keeping the fingers of her forward hand closed- for the challenge of making smooth yarn from the long, hairy top.
