GENERAL INFORMATION
As the air turns crisp and autumn settles in, this cowl is the perfect companion—warm, soft, and effortlessly stylish. Worked in The Yarn Collective Bloomsbury DK, it pairs two boldly contrasting shades for a striking play of light and dark. The design begins in the lighter colour, then shifts through a geometric mosaic stitch pattern that gently blends the tones before flowing into the richness of the darker hue. MATERIALS
Recommended yarn:
Bloomsbury DK weight: 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 240m / 263yds / 100g / 3.53oz.

MC: DK weight, 240 m / 263 yds.
CC: DK weight, 240 m / 263 yds.
Yarn choice: Two yarns with good light/dark contrast and no colours in common will work best.

Needles and notions:
3.75 mm (US 5) needles or size required to obtain gauge (main needle).
4.0 mm (US 6) needles or 0.25 mm larger than your main needle for mosaic knitting.
Clipping stitch marker. Tapestry needle to join knitting and sew in ends.

GAUGE
On 3.75 mm (US 5) needles, 22 sts and 44 rows to 10 cm/ 4 inches, in garter stitch, after blocking.
