This is a small cowl that is great for guys. It’s simple, masculine and a little rough. Knit from the top down, it begins with ribbing knit in the round and switches to (no wrap) short rows to create the triangle front. It’s great to wear under a coat or shirt to shield you from the cold wind around your throat and neck. You’ll need a 16” size 9 circular knitting needle and 80 yards of a heavy worsted/Aran weight yarn. Finished size was 18” around the neck (stretches to 21-22”) x 8.5” long at the front. No blocking needed. Psst…gals this can also be worn as a headscarf type of earwarmer.
