Ladies slim fitting jumper has cold shoulder “cut out” sections above lantern sleeves. The neck and cut out edgings are created using reverse of stocking stitch. The hem is curved back and front by using short row method, the pattern includes the option for a straight hemline. Please note, the arms in the picture look long, because they have no arms in them!! In reality they are standard length!
The pattern is intended to be used with my Small, Medium or Large sizing but if you want a larger size I’ve included some additional instruction.
Novice machine knitters are advised to stick to simple stocking stitch to start off, but once you are confident, adapt it!
This could be made in any pattern or stitch, any colour combinations, short row designs, longer, wider, thicker thinner! Made using 1 cone of Yeoman Panama, the garment drapes beautifully, looks great dressed down with leggings or jeans or dressed up with smart trousers. The garment could easily be adapted for knitting in lace, tuck or any other non elastic stitch, The only limitation is your own imagination, I hope you have fun, enjoy knitting the garment and maybe learn a little along the way!
