This is a medium-sized cowl that’s long enough to twist just once around the neck. It’s knitted in the round and features ribbing, stockinette, reverse stockette and seed stiches.

After unseasonably warm winters for the past few years, we’ve been experiencing a cold spell recently so I’ve been knitting up some additional pieces for my granddaughter who’s away at school where it’s extra cold because of the proximity to the water.

This yarn caught my eye while I was shopping. It’s a Lionbrand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick with a tweedy effect. The color is called “Sequoia”. The 5-oz skeins are 87 yards.
