Colleen shawl is a half circle shawl with a beautiful cable border.

Construction : Colleen shawl starts at the center back of the neck with a garter tab and is knit down to the bottom edge. After the body is completed, a knitted-on border is attached at right angles to the body.

Size and yardage : I used approximately 519 yards (475 m) of worsted weight yarn and my shawl ended up to be 47,24” (120 cm) wide by 20,47”(52 cm) deep after blocking.

The size of the shawl is adjustable.

The pattern contains full written instructions and also chart for the cable border.

Le châle Colleen est un châle semi-circulaire avec une belle bordure à motifs torsadés.

Construction : Il est tricoté du haut vers le bas puis la bordure est ajoutée perpendiculairement au corps du châle et raccordée 1 rang sur 2 en tricotant ensemble une maille du corps du châle avec une maille de la bordure.

Après blocage, il mesure environ 120 sur 52 cm.
