It’s already cold enough most mornings here in Leelanau County to say, “If I only had a hat to pull on right now. Something simple to knit, not too fussy but a little interesting to work on in the evenings, a hat that anyone in the house could wear, kind of neutral to go with any of my coats, just the thing to mask bed head while dropping off the kids at school….” We think this simple cabled hat fits the bill. (Especially because there’s cashmere in the yarn!) An added bonus? It’s quick enough to knit in a weekend. And it looks good on everyone, whether you’re cross- country skiing or crossing campus to get to class.
