Dash around campus in style and warmth with these mock cabled leg warmers. The stretchiness of the rib-based stitch pattern allows them to fit a wide range of calf sizes without additional shaping. For an extra touch of style, full-fashioned gussets provide fuller coverage of the instep for additional warmth with low-cut shoe styles.

Pattern is written for a set of 4 or 5 dpns and knit from the top down. Those experienced in other methods of small circumference circular knitting should be able to convert the pattern readily. Also, those experienced in toe-up sock construction may be able to knit these from the bottom up with a few modifications.
