This pattern is available for free.

This is a free pattern for a hat with a ribbed brim and color pattern of Montana mountains. This pattern is recommended for knitters who have done color stranding before or intermediate level knitters.

This hat is meant to fit adults with an average-to-large head. The hat is knitted so that the brim or parts of the brim can be rolled up when desired.

The suggested yarn is Drops Karisma or Drops Lima. The pattern sample used the following colors: Dark Brown Mix (A), Dark Olive (B), Grey Blue (C). Allow 2 skeins for the body color, and half a skein for the accent colors.

You can find a free PDF of the pattern here, and view more information and pictures on my blog here.
