This 6-pages pattern for a bandana cowl is very easy and uses only knit stitches (knit every round), and best of all: no counting stitches, just measure your work and follow the instructions.

I love the look of garter stitch (knit every row), I think it’s modern, youthful and it is a very easy and relaxing knit!

You can use any yarn and as much colors as you would like, so it is a great stash buster. You can knit this cowl in no time, so it is great for a last minute gift!

This pattern is completely written out, so no need to read complicated charts. The cowl is knitted flat, with only one seam in the back.

  • yarn : 4 colors of Katia Basic Merino (50 gram, 52% wool, 48% acrylic, 131 yrds/120 mts. I used 135 gram (353 yard / 324 meter) in total:
  • 30 turquoise
  • 32 jeans blue
  • 34 light blue
  • 71 ocre
  • straight knitting needles size 8 US, / 5 mm
  • Removable stitch markers
  • Tape measure
  • Tapestry needle

Stitches used: knit, knit 2 together, knit front to back.
