Knitting Needles Size 11 (8 mm)

Circular needle is used to accommodate large number of stitches of Border. Work Back and forth in circular needles as if working on straight needles.

Gauge:
11 sts + 16 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with 1 strand A and 1 strand C held together
13 sts + 16 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st, with 2 strands A held together

Afghan is made from 4 Blocks, each Block is made of 3 Strips. Afghan is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout.

After the Strips are seamed, stitches are picked up and a Seed stitch Border is worked across each edge.

Panels/strips are worked in stockinette stitch, following pattern color sequence. Working two different color yarns together creates a blended look.

Schematic shows position of the four large blocks for final assembly.
