These flip-top gloves/mittens are perfect for texting because the thumb can also be fingertip free by popping it out of a small hole. (And it’s easy to pop back in.) Quick-to-knit/easy-to-assemble, I chose yarn that did most of the colorwork for me… even those cute little rings on alternating fingers. But these are also a great way to get artistic and use up small and medium amounts of leftover worsted weight yarn. Go crazy, go wild!
Worsted weight yarn is used at 5 stitches/inch. One size fits most.
Fingers are each a different color (which is a great way to use up small amounts of precious wool) and the flip-top uses these same colors.
A twisted cord is used to secure the flip-top to the button, and easy directions are included.
Be prepared for the cold weather in style. Have fun, be creative, and let your inner artist escape!
