Big comfy shawl to keep you warm throughout the year.
The shawl is worked from top down, beginning with Garter tab cast-on. The short row stripes create an endless playground for beautiful color combinations.

Please note that this shawl is a tad smaller and has a more curved shape than the one in tester’s projects because I improved the construction and had to make small changes.

100” / 254 cm wide, measured across top edge;
15” / 38 cm deep.

Fingering weight yarn, approximately:
250 yds / 230 m MC (main color)
280 yds / 255 m of CC1 (contrasting color 1)
290 yds / 265 m of CC2 (contrasting color 2)

Shown in Shibui Knits Staccato (191 yds / 175 m per
50 g skein, 70 % superwash merino wool, 30 % silk):
101 Ivory as MC
2003 Ash as CC1
2002 Graphite as CC2

Gauge is not crucial for this project but will affect the amount of yarn used and the final size of the shawl.
