This crew neck colourwork cardigan was designed for the #10129 Country Classic 4Ply brochure for Sirdar. The raglan sleeved garment features stripes on the body and fair isle at the cuffs and hem. The cardigan is knit flat in pieces, then seamed together before adding the neck and front band borders. The fair isle motif is provided in chart form only while the details of striping are given in the written instructions.

TENSION

• 28 sts and 36 rows to 10cm, (4in) over stocking stitch AND
• 34 sts and 34 rows to 10cm, (4in) over fair isle pattern on 3.25mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
  Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
