I like big shawls. I like recipe patterns. I like it when i can use up all the yarn. These were the first ideas for this design.
The shawl can be knitted in different design variations. It is knitted sideways with an attached I-Cord.
The instructions are intended as a recipe. The shawl can be knitted in almost any yarn and in whatever size you wish to produce. If you would like a larger shawl simply use more yarn. You can realise your very own design in one, two, three or even more colours. Yarns with a gradient changing colour are especially suitable. You will knit this design in a continuous garter stitch. You could also opt to knit the shawl with a selvedge edge.
The Come On Home shawl is a simple, modular garter stitch knit which is suitable for beginners.
