Commodore is the perfect combination of color, texture, and pattern. Mosaic knitting is my newest knitting obsession and this project takes full advantage of that. Only one color is worked at a time and slipped stitches are used to create this texture. The color changes used in Commodore turn it into a scarf that looks different each time you out it on. Depending on the way your wear it and wrap it, different colors will show!

Color changes are staggered to create a faux ombre look. Outside of the fantastic gradient kits June Pryce Fiber Art’s offers, suitable yarns to substitute would be variegated yarn with long color repeats matched with a another variegated or corresponding solid color yarn.
