These mittens are named for and inspired by the newly restored Commodore Bar, one of Saint Paul’s most historically significant properties, it’s synonymous with 1920s and 1930s literary legend, gangster lore, and the glamorous jazz age. Let these mittens remind you of the elegance and glamour of a bygone era while you channel your inner Zelda.

This pattern is suitable for the knitter with experience knitting mittens, reading a chart and stranded colorwork.

I used one skein each of Cascade 220 Sport in colors: Black, Jet, Charcoal, Silver Grey and Natural.

Finished mitten is 8 inches in circumference and 11 inches from edge to tip. Ribbing accounts for 2.75 inches of length.
