Your papa and your mama gave you a unique combination of their DNA. You are a composite of their genetic input.
This wee knitting pattern is the same – it is a composite of the ‘Mud Puddles’ and ‘Hine’ patterns; combining the best aspects of each.

This free pattern is written for 8ply/DK weight yarn, and to fit a newborn babe, approx 3-4kg (7-9lb) in weight, with an approx chest circumference of 35cm. The finished garment has 2.5cm of positive ease (will measure 37.5cm if knit to gauge)

CONSTRUCTION
The pattern is constructed using a seamless top-down raglan method. The sleeves are worked at the same time as the body in a delicate lace pattern, and then finished before moving on to the body……so once you cast off you simply need to sew in your ends and your knit is finished!
You will need to know how to knit basic lace, backwards loop cast on, and how to work in the round. If you are not familiar with these techniques you may need to reference a knitting guide book, or view videos on the internet.
