I wanted to add that the scarf is sized for adults, though it fit my son really well too.
This scarf is perfect for worsted/aran/bulky yarns. I chose my Inspire SW base for this project and it is absolutely perfect. The pattern is super easy and uses just one skein.
The scarf creates a very slight triangular shape by making increases and then decreases on every other right side row.
