This top down sock both shows off and minimizes pooling that sometimes occurs with hand dyed variegated yarns. The colors remind me of party confetti and streamers. Knit a party for your feet! This yarn is a dream to work with and knits up into a soft, durable sock.

This pattern is written for sizes Medium and Large. Both sizes are included in the pattern. Sample knitted in size Large (fits women’s size 9 foot). Pattern is both charted and written for women’s sizes 5 to 11, men’s sizes 7 to 12.

Designers Note: Due to the cable patterns, it is easiest to knit these socks using a 9” circular needle rather than dpns. Or, use the Magic Loop or two-at-a-time method, with two long circular needles. Read through directions before beginning for best results.

The cables are simple and easy to memorize, this is a good pattern for a beginner cable knitter and a beginner sock knitter.
