Perfect for Spring - a light, lacey cowl to keep the chills away. You can read all about how it came into existence here.

This is a written pattern rather than charted because I don’t have any chart software.

My only suggestion is use a different yarn to the one I used - it’s worth using something a bit nicer for a pattern this delicate.

This is my first lace pattern and despite quadruple/quintuple checking it over I am still nervous about mistakes. There has been one - thank you FatCat for finding it!

  • There’s a yo missing in Row 1, directly before the placement of the second marker, between the sl2-k1-p2sso and the 4LC.
  • And Row 7 is missing where the second marker should be.

So sorry if you have an older version of the pattern. The version on my blog DOES have the updates in it now. The correct version is called “Constanze v2”. I don’t think there are any mistakes left but please let me know if you find any.

As always, I’d love to see pictures!
