old pond
a frog jumps into
the sound of water
- Matsuo Bashō, translated by Jane Reichhold

With a single skein of fine cashmere yarn, and using decreases and yarn overs, you’ll create a fabric that mimics entrelac. The little indigo spot gets turned this way and that.

Knitted in the round, there are no purls and only two ends to sew in.

Use my contemplation yarn, or your own cobweb weight self striping yarn. A very simple striping element is very effective.
