Contexta Afghan consists of octagon and mitered square motifs I designed for my latest Craftsy Class: Knitting Texture: One Motif at a Time.
You get to play with which octagon motifs you want in your project. This part is SO much fun! You can also lay out your motifs in different configurations to make your projects larger (or smaller).
Refer to the octagon and mitered square patterns in the class materials for detailed yarn usage, the octagon uses about 110 yards, and the mitered square about 35 yards. You can do the math based on how many octagons and squares you are going to make to determine the yarn you’ll need. Make sure to order at least 1 skein extra for joining your motifs and working the border.

Oh, and we are having a Contexta Octagon Swap over in my Ravelry group…. sign ups are open until
This pattern will be available individually in June of 2017, for now the only way to get it is to sign up for the Craftsy class (50% off link here).
