This is a toe up Mystery Sock created for the 2017 season of Super Sock Scarefest on Ravelry.com
This patterns inspiration comes from the movie Zodiac, 2007. A serial killer leaves clues in various places for
detectives to find. Knit along with their twisting paths and convoluted clues. There are twisted stitches in this pattern
but the “elasticity” of the sock remains since there are many knit and purls between twisted stitch columns. I would
suggest you knit your “normal” cast on size. The men in your life are sure to like this pleasing pattern as well. The lack
of patterning on the foot allows for inside shoes comfort and quick knitting while the leg has enough detail to keep
things interesting and easy to read for the knitter. These socks would be easily knit two at a time.
