I learnt it from an old woman how to knit the tutyi (slippers). The Cony Tutyi was made based on this narration.

Yarn thickness: DK (Double Knit), Light worsted yarn
4,5 and 5,5 are recommended for this yarn thickness, but this slippers can be made with thinner needle as well. Size 2,5 hook is used for the picot.

What you need for knitting: For shoe size 38 I used 105 meters of yarn for one pair of tutyi (slippers).
Yarn: KUKA magic Wool DeLuxe 100 wool yarn; 100g = 200 metres
Knitting patterns: patent: 1 simple, 1 reversed, stockinette stitching: we always use simple stitching from the front
