Soft and stylish, Coogee is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down in Alpaca 4 ply yarn from Adagio Mills. Coogee mixes neat twisted rib, smooth stocking stitch and regular increases to gently widen the cowl towards the bottom edge.

Yarn Requirements
Approximately 350 yards/320 metres of 4 ply/Fingering/Sock yarn.

The sample was knitted in Adagio Alpaca 4 ply (100% Alpaca; 175 yards/160 metres per 50 grams) in Clouds, 2 balls.

Project kits are available to purchase from: Adagio Mills

Needles & Notions
4 US/3.5 mm circular needles, 16 inches/41 cm long (or longer, if you use the magic loop method), or needle size to obtain gauge.
4 stitch markers.
Tapestry/yarn needle to weave in yarn ends.

Gauge
26 sts and 35 rounds per 4 inches/10 cm in stocking stitch, knitted in the round, after blocking. Gauge is not crucial but a different gauge will alter the finished size, drape and amount of yarn required.

Finished Measurements
All measurements are after blocking.
Neck circumference: 20 inches/51 cm at the top; 26 inches/66 cm at the bottom.
Height: 14 inches/35.5 cm.

Pattern Notes
The cowl is worked seamlessly, in the round, from the top to the bottom; increase rounds are used to gently widen the circumference of the cowl.
You may find it useful to use a different colour/shape of stitch marker to indicate the bor marker.
