Bold diagonals are placed on a background of ribbing on this bottom up cardigan. The lines of these are a real standout in chunky yarn, and the mix of delicate lines and thicker cables is unexptected and easy to work. A v-neck, a short length, and the direction of the cables are all added to make Cool Arcade easy to wear and flattering. The pattern is graded thoughtfully, and larger sizes have more repeats of the motif across front and back.

The cardigan is worked from the bottom up and separated at armholes into 3 pieces, which are worked flat to shoulders. Once shoulders are seamed, sleeve stitches are picked up around armholes and worked in round to cuff. Button band is picked up and worked last. Ribbed sections at front and sides make for easy modifications and notes are given in the pattern.

Cables are both charted and written.

ERRATA:

Cable Charts:

The small cable all by itself on the Right Front Chart, on Columns 6-8 on Row 15 is not supposed to be on Row 15.

The same is true for the Left Front Chart but the single cable is on Columns 14-16 at the other side of the ribbing.

Berroco has the document and is revising as of 9/25. I am going to get the revised version out to everyone as soon as I get the edited PDF back from them. So sorry!!!
