I wanted to design a cowl to wear when enjoying the cool breezes of spring and summer. But I wanted the pattern to also be great if one used a different yarn for when those breezes are a quite a bit cooler in fall and winter. Of course, you can vary the length and width to meet your taste and needs and the amount of yarn you have. I have included two versions.

Fingering Weight Yarn 220 – 300 yards

The short cowl in raspberry used 1 skein CoBaSi by HiKoo, 220 yards. It has two repeats of the body pattern.

The long cowl in pewter used 1.2 skeins of Linen by Shibui Knits, 300 yards. It has three repeats of the body pattern.
