In science, cool flames are a hot prospect, but here they are a beautiful, lacy design element.

Cool Flames Shawl is a triangular, asymmetric lace shawl, worked sideways in one piece. It can be worked as a striped or single-colour version. Gradient colours would work well, too.

The size of the shawl is easily adaptable by working fewer or more repeats of the main pattern.

Most lace yarns are suitable.
