Description:
I originally knit this hat simply because I had the cardigan design in mind and wanted to knit a gauge swatch. Knitting a swatch with all these gorgeous colours, only to toss it in a basket when I was done never to be seen again, seemed like such a waste! I decided I’d cast on for a hat to check my gauge and colour motif. Not only did I gain some valuable insight into the beginnings of my cardigan, but I also got this awesome new hat out of it!
