Warm and cosy cardigan with a mixed texture of brioche and honeycomb.

Sizes: S/M (L/XL)
Recommended ease 10-15 cm.
Sample is shown in size S/M on bust size 86 cm.

Finished measurements:
bust 99 (109) cm
length from shoulder to hem 53 (55) cm
length from underarm to hem 35 cm
sleeve length from underarm 40 cm

The brioche pattern is very stretchy and the cardigan may fit larger sizes depending on how much ease you prefer.

Construction:
The body of the cardigan is worked bottom up in rows, and the shoulder seams are closed with a 3 needle bind off. Stitches for the sleeves are knitted up around armhole, and then the sleeves are worked top down in the round, ending with an I-cord edge.

Yarn:
DK weight.
The sample was knit using Madeline Tosh DK Twist (229 m/114 g) in colour Smokestack 6 (7) skeins / 1374 (1603) m.

Gauge:
16 sts and 42 rows = 10 cm in brioche stich.
25 sts and 27 rows/rounds = 10 cm in honeycomb pattern.

Needle size:
4 mm circular needle 60 cm; 4.5 mm circular needle 40 cm and double pointed needles.

Accessories:
5 buttons, size 25 mm diameter.
