10/7/12 An updated pattern file was uploaded with some minor corrections published and some more pictures!.

This pattern was adapted from the Trigger Gloves #208 Pattern and Anne Redden’s “Fornicating Deer” chart. I’ve used a hardier weight wool, worsted, than the suggested one for the trigger gloves meaning that the pattern had to be modified significantly for it to fit my boyfriend’s hands. I also used a knit Pick Andean Silk in a natural color, something out of my “grab bag” of yarns for the accent color. It was perfect for the coffee beenz brown. My boyfriend chose the color because he said it reminded him of the colors you see in an elk’s fur.

These gloves are Men’s LARGE. But I think they can be adapted for smaller hands by adjusting the gauge or needles size, however, it will be difficult to put the pattern into them.
